Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Thursday carries an article to mark the 9th anniversary of the publication of the work of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un "Let Us Step Up the Building of a Thriving Country by Applying Kim Jong Il's Patriotism".
Kim Jong Il's patriotism is the most fervent and the warmest love for our socialist country and people and the most earnest and self-sacrificing devotion to the sake of the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people, the article says, and goes on:
The revolutionary traits of the Korean people, who are hastening the rosy future with their hearts burning with Kim Jong Il's patriotism, are fully displayed in faithfully upholding the Party's idea and intention and vigorously advancing under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.
The traits are also manifested in dedicating more sincerity to the rising generations in ever-worsening adversity.
The Korean people have regarded the slogan "Let Us Live Not Merely for Today But for Tomorrow" as signpost of their struggle and life.
When planting a tree or making something, the Korean people devote their pure conscience to their work so that the rising generations would benefit from them.
The future of our country is immensely rosy as there are such people who dynamically advance toward the future in the face of difficulties and devote their wisdom and efforts, sharing their intention with their leader and keeping pace with him.
