Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- Units in different sectors of the national economy fulfilled their national economic plans for July.
Several units in the field of metallurgical industry distinguished themselves in fulfilling their plans.
Workers of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex have carried out the plans for producing pig iron, steel and rolled steel by increasing the operating ratio of the oxygen heat blast furnace, the UHP electric arc furnace and other equipment.
The Chollima Steel Complex, the Posan Iron Works and the Puryong Ferroalloy Factory also fulfilled their plans.
Miners of the Musan Mining Complex, the Unryul Mine and the Jaeryong Mine increased the production of iron ores by expanding the mining and hauling capacities and stepping up the earth-scraping and deep exploration.
Workers in the field of machine industry also took the lead in implementing the plans.
Workers of the Ryongsong Machine Complex successfully finished the production of air compressors and other machines by establishing a new casting process for producing different kinds of quality castings, giving priority to the production of materials and propelling the processing of components.
The Taean Heavy Machine Complex has achieved successes in producing generating equipment and the Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 has fulfilled its national economic plan for July by 120 percent.
The Kusong Machine Tool Factory, Mangyongdae Machine Tool Factory, the Ryangchaek Bearing Factory and other units also implemented their plans for July.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Railways over-fulfilled the July plan for freight transport.
