The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the riding training ground of the Korean People’s Army soldiers on a Sunday in mid-November 2012.
After stepping on the track and seeing the riding exercises of soldiers, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea ran the track on horseback, saying that when he came to the place which is associated with the footprints of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, he felt deep yearning for them.
And he rode around the course again and again.
After acquainting himself with the conditions of track scrupulously, he said that the track was quite good and that this riding training ground was suitable for riding.
With a plan to spruce up the riding ground for training physical strength of working people, youth and students, he assigned the task of making a miniature to a relevant sector and came to the spot to learn about the actual situation of the training ground.
Riding is a very good exercise for training the valour and boldness of the people, he said, adding that working people, youth and students will not only train their body and mind in the well furbished training ground but also feel the joy of life, and wore a bright smile on his face.
And he added that the riding ground should be called the “Mirim Riding Club” as the newly reconstructed riding ground is situated in the Mirim area.
