Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, inspected several fields of the national economy seething with the efforts to implement the decisions of the Third Enlarge Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8th Central Committee of the WPK.
At the Sunchon Cement Complex he encouraged the workers engaged in endeavors to attain the high cement production goal with a single intention of loyalty to uphold the Party Central Committee’s grand construction plan with proud success of production increase.
Learning about the overall operation of the complex, he stressed the need to ensure the current production through responsible kiln repair and regular operation of equipment, and to undertake capacity expansion project to thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth at the Party Congress without fail.
At the Kumsong Tractor Factory, he learned about the technical updating project and exposed drawbacks in building of construction and deployment of machines and equipment. He called on the officials to finish at the highest level the work for modernizing the factory to which the Party gives importance, being well aware of its mission and duty in consolidating the material and technical foundation of the agricultural field.
Field consultative meetings discussed practical issues for production capacity expansion of the Sunchon Cement Complex and technical updating of the Kumsong Tractor Factory, and pressed for provision of equipment and materials from relevant units.
The premier also looked round the arboretum of the Central Botanical Garden and the Nampho Port.
