Youth shock brigade members of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex carried out their annual tunnelling plan until the end of July by staging an intensive increased production campaign under the slogan of self-reliance and self-sufficiency.
During the period, members of the Kang Ho Yong Youth Shock Brigade of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine undertook a 24-7 tunnelling campaign.
They fully exhibited the traits of collective struggle including the helping of next shift and working of one more shift to overfulfil their daily tunnelling plans.
Thus they proudly exceeded their tunnelling target for two years.
Members of the Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade of the same coal mine worked hard to implement their production plan by holding science and technology as a powerful weapon for it.
They positively introduced advanced blasting methods to raise the tunnelling efficiency over 1.6 times.
Youth shock brigades of all other mines, including the Kim Hyok and Kim Yu Bong youth shock brigades of the February 8 Jiktong Youth Coal Mine and Kim Jin Youth Shock Brigade of the Ryongdae Youth Coal Mine, also introduced rational tunnelling methods to hit their annul tunnelling targets, making it possible for all 10 youth shock brigades to make a collective innovation of implementing their annual tunnelling plans.
Now, all the youth shock brigade members in the complex are making continuous innovations and advance to attain a higher goal with a single-minded determination to demonstrate the mettle and spirit of patriotic youth in the van of the all-people general march.
