Koreans in China held celebrations on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the glorious motherland the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Floral baskets were laid before the bronze statue of the great leader Kim Il Sung at the Yuwen Middle School in Jilin in the name of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Provincial Regional Association and the family of Hwang Paek Ha, a Korean in China related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and Hong Yong Sun, Vice-Chairwoman of the Jilin Provincial Regional Association.
The officials of the General Association of Koreans in China including its First Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong laid floral baskets before the picture of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the DPRK Consulate General in Shenyang and paid respects to them.
The officials of the Federation of Korean National Economic Workers in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and the Dandong City Branch of the Liaoning Provincial Regional Association laid floral baskets before the smiling portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the DPRK mission in Dandong and paid respects to them.
The officials of the General Association including the Chairman of the Zhongnan Regional Association and Beijing City Branch visited the DPRK embassy in China and laid floral baskets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
The General Association of Koreans in China held a round-table talk at its meeting hall on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Colourful events including celebration meeting were held at the Yanbian Regional Association and Mudanjiang Regional Association of the General Association.
