Personages of different countries and international organizations paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in the given countries on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Floral baskets and bouquets were laid before the smiling portraits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their joint pictures and homage was paid to them by the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal(Marxist-Leninist), the Chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for theStudy of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, the Vice-President of the National Assembly of Laos, the Chairperson of the Central Committee ofthe Workers' Party ofBangladesh, the Vice-President of the People’s Assembly of Syria, the Chairman of the Syria-KoreaFriendship Parliamentary Group, the Senior leader of the Indian People’s Party, the Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of theVietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the Chairman of Berlin City Committee of the Communist Party of Germany, the Chairman of thePermanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends ofKorean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the National Secretary of thePeople’s Progressive Party of Nigeria, the chief Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Democratic Congo, the Special Political Advisor to thePresident of Senegal, the Vice-Chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt who is Chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, personages of the Ministry ofCommerce of China, the Organizationfor the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Equatorial Guinea, and the Executive Director of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies.

Congratulatory visits were also paid by the Secretary of the Chamberlain as special envoy of theEgyptian President, the General Secretary of theArab Democratic Union Party of Syria, the Secretary General of the International Taekwon-do Association in Iran, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, the Vice-President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship withthe Peoples, a member of the Communist Party Group of Brazilian NationalCongress and the chief of the Carabobo Branch of the Venezuelan Solidarity Committee for Korea’s Peace and Reunification.

Meanwhile, the President of the International group of Italy sent a large floral basket to the DPRK mission in his country on the same occasion. Floral baskets and bouquets were sent to the DPRK missions by foreign personages, organizations and others.
