Koreans in China significantly celebrated the 76th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
First Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong and other officials of the General Association of Koreans in China laid a floral basket before the painting of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the Consulate General of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Shenyang and paid homage to them on the 10th.
Floral baskets were placed before the bronze statue of Kim Il Sung at the Yuwen Middle School in Jilin in the name of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Regional Association, the family of Hwang Paek Ha, a China-resident Korean related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and the family of Hong Yong Sun, Vice-Chairperson of the Jilin Regional Association.
Officials of the Federation of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Association of Korean Women in China and the Dandong City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association laid floral baskets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the DPRK mission in Dandong.
Chairman Paek Kyong Hyon and other officials of the Zhongnan Regional Association and its Beijing City Branch visited the DPRK embassy in China and placed a floral basket before the smiling portraits of the great leaders on the 9th.
The General Association of Koreans in China had a round-table talk on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the WPK.
Present there were First Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong and other officials of the General Association, the Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, officials of the Liaoning Regional Association and citizens of Shenyang City.
The participants watched the Korean feature film "In Those Unforgettable Days" with deep emotion.
Meetings and photo exhibitions were held by the Zhongnan Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Ningan City Branch of the Mudanjiang Regional Association and the Yanbian Regional Association.
Meanwhile, Vice-Chairman Cha Sang Bo of the General Association of Koreans in China gave a statement to media on the 6th.
