Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, inspected the Taedonggang Electrical Appliances Factory and Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326.
Looking round the factories, he stressed the need to put primary efforts into upgrading the existing production lines and increasing their production capacity in order to produce and supply enough raw and other materials and equipment needed for economic construction.
The field consultative meetings discussed the issues of expediting the implementation of the readjustment and reinforcement strategy set forth by the WPK, of implanting into the minds of officials and employees the idea that the national economic plan is just state law and of creating an atmosphere of law observance in various forms and methods.
