A symposium of the General Association of Koreans in China was held on the 10th on the historic policy speech made by the respected Kim Jong Un at the Fifth Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Present at the symposium were First Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong and other officials of the General Association of Koreans in China, Kim Kyong Su, Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, and Korean citizens in Shenyang.
Read out at the symposium was an article of the daily "Rodong Sinmun" on the historic policy speech of Kim Jong Un "On the Orientation of Present Struggle for a Fresh Development of Socialist Construction".
Speeches were made.
First Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong and other speakers said it is a significant event that Kim Jong Un indicated the orientation of present struggle for a fresh development of socialist construction at the time when the people in the homeland powerfully accelerate the development of the independent economy for prosperity of the DPRK while overcoming all the difficulties.
All the participants made a firm determination to do their duty as overseas citizens of socialist Korea by keeping step with the people in the homeland in their sacred struggle to hasten the new victory with new innovation, bold creation and continued advance for the building of a powerful socialist country in firm unity around Kim Jong Un, cherishing deep in their hearts the main idea of the historic policy speech.
