The Rangnang Ferment Factory is making a contribution to the improvement of the people's living by producing various kinds of ferment. It has young people called treasures.
They are young scientists of the Ferment Technology Institute.
Pak Yong Nam, Vice-Director of the Ferment Technology Institute, says:
"Our Ferment Technology Institute consists mainly of promising young scientists in their 20s. They are all talented, competent and vigorous researchers who carry out any tasks with success when they are given."
Some time ago, they developed a technology recycling the by-products from the ferment production and a technology making it possible to maximize the utility rate of the existing production facilities, and introduced them into production. As a result, a firm prospect was provided to increase the production of goods while remarkably lowering the production costs.
Researcher Ri Ji Song says:
"I thought a lot, seeing the young people volunteer to work in difficult and challenging sectors and show beautiful traits. I also hardened my determination to work harder as a young scientist who has learned to the full under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea. I am going to repay the love of the Party trusting and treasuring us with my actual results by solving the knotty sci-tech problems for the factory."
Today, they are pooling their efforts and wisdom to produce various kinds of ferment, which had been imported in the past, with their own raw materials and technology.
