Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The members of the April 15 technical innovation shock brigade in Pyongyang have achieved successes through an active technological innovation movement.
They have devised and introduced two thousand and hundreds of technical innovations as of mid-October this year to contribute to the implementation of the national economic plans of their units. They also brought great benefits to the country by saving labor, fuel and raw materials.
The fields of the metallurgical, electric power and coal industries actively introduced advanced technologies and working methods and achieved sci-tech successes conducive to the revitalization of production and consolidation of the production foundations.
The agricultural sector solved the technical problems for promoting the organic farming with the help of mud snails and the farm machine stations devised and manufactured different high-efficiency farm machines, as a result of campaign for making technical innovations conducive to increasing the agricultural production and solidifying the material and technological foundations for promoting sustainable development.
The light industrial sector including Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill and Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory have introduced a number of technical innovations, spurring the local production of raw and other materials and the recycling, raising their quality and promoting the modernization of production lines and equipment.
The shock brigade members in other sectors continuously produce valuable technical innovations and contribute to speeding up production and construction.
