Some time ago, the United Nations made public a report on the issue of women where it stressed that it has become an urgent task for the international society to recognize and ensure the rights of women saying that there is still a long way to go before proscribing discrimination against women on earth.

United Nations Development Program (UNDP) also appealed to all countries to take necessary measures to attain global objectives for gender equality as soon as possible.

This is the reflection of the unanimous desire of all women across the world to enjoy equal rights and life with men.

However, a lot of women are still suffering from severe pains every day and every moment, falling victim to violence and crimes.

According to data, one third of the world female population are subjected to different kinds of assault every day with more than 130 women losing their lives by their family members or spouses.

In particular, acts of discrimination and human rights violation against women are committed one after another in Europe, prompting a great social controversy.

According to a recent poll conducted by one of the survey agencies in France towards women in France, Germany and UK in October this year, 60% of respondents are said to be suffering from sexual assaults in their workplaces.

What cannot be overlooked is the fact that most of the victims cannot even complain about what they had suffered in disgrace, for the fear they would be fired.

In August this year, the Home Office of the UK presented the data that shows, during one-year period since March 2020, 1,106 rape cases happened in England and Wales. One of the British newspapers also revealed that the success rate of prosecuting suspects is only limited to 2.6% even though more than 400,000 women are sexually assaulted every year in these regions, all of which threw the world into consternation.

The Department of Gender Equality of the Czech Republic announced that one out of three Czech women suffer from sexual harassment including offensive touching at the time of using public transport, and it insisted that, in order to ensure the women’s rights, the government should set up emergency call devices in public places or reinforce police force for night patrols.

This is just one small part of the human rights violation which is running wild against women in Europe.

The miserable fate of the European women who have no other way but to live under social inequality, humiliation and violence is the inevitable product born of the social system which is decadent both mentally and morally.

All the facts clearly show the hypocritical and impudent nature of European countries which pose themselves as “human rights judges” often finding fault with others while looking away from their own dirty laundry of human rights.
