Some time ago, the National IT Successes Exhibition--2021 was held in virtual mode through the national data communication network in the capital Pyongyang.
It selected 10 best IT enterprises and 10 model IT units in 2021.
The Information Technology Institute under the High-Tech Development Centre of Kim Il Sung University was selected as one of the 10 best IT enterprises this year, too, in the wake of 2016, 2017 and 2018.
In the past, researchers of the institute developed many excellent IT products including video conferencing system, common sense question-and-answer program, computer anti-virus program and health checkup program.
Any visitors to the institute can know that it has peculiar production management system. The institute manages the production and business activities in a comprehensive way. It is a result of the introduction of the general software production and management system developed by the institute.
The system, first of all, gives the researchers clear-cut tasks every day.
It also helps assess the daily work-points of the researchers in emulation.
Thanks to its introduction, the development ability of the institute was greatly improved. And the quality control was put on a highly scientific basis.
Director Choe Chol Ryong says:
"Since the development cycle of information technology shortens, our institute is exploring new IT fields and steadily developing IT products."
The institute intends to develop and produce a larger number of IT products with a world competitive edge in the shortest possible time.
