Who is the Main Culprit that Caused Afghan Crisis?

Recently, the socio-economic crisis is getting worse in Afghanistan making its situation still remain out of joint.

At present, severe crisis has been created in Afghanistan; the banking system has been crippled, civil servants are not even paid with their salary and the price of goods has shot up due to the scarcity of goods.

What’s noticeable in particular is the rapid increase of the acts of terrorism by the “Islamic Sate” and other terrorists under this chaotic situation. This draws a great concern from the international society.

On November 17, at an open-ended meeting of the UNSC, the special representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Afghanistan issue raised the alarm that the economy and financial system of Afghanistan is on the brink of collapse and the humanitarian crisis has reached the worst-ever state. China and Russia also sent warnings that the U.S. is driving the Afghan situation into a catastrophe by taking unilateral sanctions and fund-freezing measures and that this country is in danger of being reduced into the “hotbed” of terrorism once again.

The U.S. is just the main culprit who caused the current Afghan crisis.

During the last two decades, the U.S. turned Afghanistan into ruins behind the signboard of counter-terrorism. So it is imperative for the U.S. to do its level best to rebuild Afghanistan than anybody else. Instead of doing this, the U.S. has frozen the foreign assets of Afghanistan worth more than 9 billion US$ and uses as the fronts the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and other international financial institutions to cut off loans and remittance to this country.

It is a self-evident truth that civil war will break out again in this country and the terrorist groups like the “Islamic State” will bounce back if socio-economic crisis continues unabated in Afghanistan.

Recently, special envoy of the Iranian President for Afghanistan insisted that the U.S. is trying to threaten the security of countries such as China and Russia by using terrorists, and that the U.S. wants to see the instability of Afghanistan be spread over neighboring countries.

Earlier in September, one of the Russian media, referring to the Afghan crisis, had predicted that the real intention of the U.S. is to plant a time-bomb just at the feet of Russia and China.

The U.S. is dead set against China in its demand to put the “East Turkestan Islamic Movement” on the list of terrorist groups again which was once removed from it during the Trump Administration. This fact only adds credibility to the above insistence and prediction.

The U.S. is causing instability and crisis in many parts of the world in order to achieve its political and military objectives. But this is only doomed to failure.
