Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea held a rally in Oguk-ri, Anak County of South Hwanghae Province on the 12th to carry through the decisions adopted at the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present at the rally were Ri Tu Song, Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Pak Thae Sop, Secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Party Committee, officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, officials concerned, agricultural workers and members of the Union.
A report was made by Han Jong Hyok, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea.
The reporter said:
At the proposal of the respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee sent thanks in the name of the Party Central Committee to the exemplary officials, workers, scientists and technicians in the field of agriculture who made an active contribution to doing good farming last year.
Kim Jong Un highly appreciated in the name of the Party Central Committee the members of the whole Party, working people across the country and service personnel of the People's Army who glorified Juche 110(2021) when the Party Congress was held as a year of proud victory noteworthy in the history of socialist construction with their indefatigable and stubborn efforts, and sent warm greetings to them.
The reporter ardently called upon the entire agricultural workers and members of the Union to wage a vigorous struggle for implementing the programme on the socialist rural construction presented by the plenary meeting to attain the goals of agricultural production set by the Party and thus glorify this significant year marking the 110th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung and the 80th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il as a year of great revolutionary events.
Then, there were speeches.
The rally adopted a letter of pledge to Kim Jong Un.
