Meetings took place in the sectors of construction, land management, urban management, science, education, public health, art and literature and sports to pledge to thoroughly implement the decisions made at the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea

Reporters said the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth WPK Central Committee, at the proposal of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the WPK, extended thanks in the name of the Party Central Committee to the exemplary agricultural officials, workers, scientists and technicians who made a tangible contribution to doing farming well last year.
They stressed that the General Secretary, on behalf of the Party Central Committee, highly praised all the Party members and other working people across the country and service personnel of the People’s Army for making indomitable and strenuous efforts to glorify last year as a year of proud victory to be specially recorded in the history of socialist construction, and sent warm greetings to them.
Noting that last year’s proud victory helped them cherish more deeply the iron truth that nothing can check the vigorous march of the Korean-style socialism advancing under the wise leadership of the Party Central Committee, reporters and speakers called for becoming creators of miracles and merits in the struggle for the prosperity and development of our great state.
They expressed their determination to effect great innovations in their sectors and units and make substantial achievements in this significant year without fail, true to the decisions made at the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth WPK Central Committee, and thus make a tangible contribution to bringing about the comprehensive development of socialist construction.
Resolutions were adopted at the meetings.
