At the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, General Secretary Kim Jong Un highly appreciated that many young people volunteered to work in difficult and labour-consuming sectors and did good deeds impressing the people and that it was a remarkable political success that young people became high-spirited.
The achievements our young people made last year were good enough to be proud of.
But we have no right to be conceited.
In fulfilling the five-year plan for national economic development, the work done year after year holds very vital and important significance.
At the plenary meeting, the General Secretary said that the struggle in 2022 is a great, urgent struggle to be vigorously waged successfully for sure for the overall development of socialist construction, our great people and beloved posterity.
This year, too, we will see to it that young people in Pyongyang take the lead in doing difficult and labour-consuming work in all fields of economic construction and create new standards and records continuously through proactive collective emulation and performing of miracles, thereby making them play a pivotal role in every workplace.
It is the mission of our youth league officials to make young people erect monumental structures through the active youth shock brigade movement in grand construction sites in the capital and kindle the flames of the movements for invention, the development of new ideas and technical innovation wherever they are.
We will make sure that youth league organizations arrange the organizational life more efficiently to train youth league members into genuine patriotic youth.
