It is a unanimous desire of the parents to bring up their beloved children to be talents who add glory to the country and contribute to the social development.
Talents are produced by education. So the parents want their children to receive good education from their early years.
The Minhung Kindergarten in Moranbong District of the capital Pyongyang is one of the educational institutions good at developing the intelligence and cultural attainments of the children.
The head of the kindergarten is a competent educator who has trained many excellent little calligraphers.
She gives top priority to love in her work. It is her theory that if the kindergarteners make strenuous efforts with ardent love for the children, they can create more effective teaching methods anew and train all the kindergarten children as talents.
Head of the kindergarten Ri Sun Yong says:
"Kindergarten is the home of children. If it turns into the kindergarten they are eager to attend and the kindergarteners become their favourites, more and more little talents can be trained, I think. When I love the children like their mothers and give lessons with intimacy by applying new teaching methods that suit their feelings, the children find them interesting and their talents develop noticeably."
The kindergarten enrolls children in the extracurricular groups according to their inborn aptitudes and hopes to learn abacus, paduk (go), piano, violin, singing, calligraphy, traditional martial art Taekwon-Do and others. Their fast development surprises not only the parents but also the kindergarteners.
Children show off their talents and, seeing them, the kindergarteners take pride in their job.
