was created by the Phibada Opera Troupe in Juche 61(1972).
The dance gives a vivid depiction of the warm devotion of the people who aided the Korean People's Revolutionary Army with all sincerity to bring earlier the day of national liberation with the great leader Kim Il Sung in high esteem as the sun of the nation during the past anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.
It consists of three parts.
The first part shows with lively rhythmic movement the village girls who are preparing the foodgrain to be sent to the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
The second part, through the girls greeting the sunrise, profoundly depicts the great pride and happiness of the Korean people who held Kim Il Sung in high esteem as the lodestar of the nation and are fighting, true to his intention.
The last part shows the vivacious girls hastening the work.
The dance brings the national feelings into prominence as it represented the movements and turning round with the winnow as props.
The dance "Winnow Dance" is loved by people as one of the famous dances of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
