The chemical industrial sector is mapping out a scientific plan for promoting the revitalization of production and readjustment and reinforcement projects more powerfully true to the idea and spirit of the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The Ministry of Chemical Industry is intensifying the study and discussion with main stress on giving full play to the newly created fertilizer production capacity, reenergizing major chemical factories and stubbornly accelerating the project to establish a new structure of the chemical industry on the basis of analysis and review of the experiences and lessons of last year.
Itis taking measures for the supply of different kinds of equipment and materials needed for the expansion of the fertilizer production capacity and the readjustment and reinforcement projects and making foresighted preparations to guarantee the production of goods in a scientific and technological way in close cooperation with relevant sectors and units.
Measures are taken to establish a new structure of the chemical industry.
Sincere discussions are made on the plan of laying a foundation for producing without letup different kinds of chemical goods as demanded with domestic raw and other materials by speeding up the projects including the establishment of C1 chemical industry.
Strenuous efforts are made to push ahead with the establishment of a new fibre production process as scheduled.
The ranks of scientists, technicians and skilled workers are strengthened both in quality and quantity in contact with institutions concerned by putting efforts into training talented personnel to shoulder the chemical industry.
