Celebrations of the Youth Day August 28 were grandly held in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in 2021.
Present there were 10,000 young people including those who volunteered to work in the difficult and challenging sectors and exemplary officials of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League.
The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, sent a letter of congratulations to the young people who volunteered to work in the difficult and challenging sectors of socialist construction including coal mines, cooperative farms, grand construction sites and schools on islets and in mountainous areas in order to implement the decisions of the Eighth Party Congress.
He invited them to the celebrations of the Youth Day, saying their deeds were the heroic ones tantamount to going to the front and throwing themselves before the enemy's pillbox without hesitation in wartime.
Though their native homes and hopes were different, the volunteers settled in the workplaces, to which others do not dare to go, and in other places strange to them with the same dream and ideal of supporting the Party's intention.
That's why Kim Jong Un praised them as young patriots of the times in his letter of congratulations.
Ri Kil Song, Vice-Chairman of the Phyongchon District Committee of Pyongyang City of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, says:
"The letter of congratulations sent by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un shows his greatest trust in the young people, I think.
He loves the young people most, values what they have done and speaks highly of them to be known to the whole country.
His great trust is the source of spirit and vigour of the youth.
Elated by his letter of congratulations, young people in the district volunteer to work in the difficult and challenging sectors of socialist construction and make miracles and innovations in their workplaces."
Always keeping the trust of Kim Jong Un deep in their hearts, the Korean young people are fully displaying their wisdom and gallantry in all sectors of socialist construction.
