Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun says in an editorial on Sunday that the achievements made in the ongoing anti-epidemic campaign are an outcome of our Party's wise guidance and our socialist system's politico-ideological superiority and its peculiar organizing ability and unity and an evident proof of the scientific accuracy and validity of the Party's policy on epidemic prevention.
Noting that the Workers' Party of Korea made sure that a firm and reliable, state measure for preventing the malicious disease was taken in anticipation of possible situation and aftereffect since its outbreak, the editorial says:
All the emergency epidemic prevention policies and important measures adopted by our Party are the most scientific and realistic ones based on the correct analysis of the character of COVID-19 and the country's public health conditions.
Taken at several major Party meetings held recently were steps for locking down every region and unit, rapidly conducting a scientific and intensive medical test and treatment and releasing the reserve medical supplies stored by the Party and the government for emergency. The meetings also reaffirmed the technical procedures for swiftly supplying reserve medicines and discussed a matter of introducing the scientific treatment tactics and methods in a rational way.
Witnessing the reality in which the harshest health crisis, a great turmoil since the emergence of the state, is being successfully defused, our people have keenly realized the scientific accuracy and vitality of our Party's epidemic prevention policies.
It is the firm faith of our people that they can overcome any trials, thanks to the guidance of the great Party prioritizing the life and safety of the people.
