Workers in the field of electric power industry are putting spurs to increasing the electric power production while keeping high tension in hearty response to the decision of the Eighth Politburo Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The Pyongyang Thermal Power Station is working hard to boost the production onto a high level while fully meeting the need for electricity.
The power producers of the station have found a way of increased production in the management of equipment and the technical management. They are directing great efforts to raising the efficiency of the generating equipment and at the same time, strengthening checkup during recesses and travelling inspection and mobilizing all the internal reserves and potentialities, making innovations in the power generation.
The East Pyongyang Thermal Power Station is tapping the reserves and possibilities to the maximum while conducting positive mass technical innovation movement.
Chief Engineer Choe Sun Dok says:
"We have set a goal to produce more electricity by increasing the output per generator. Regularly watching the vibration and noise of the equipment in operation, we are keeping the heat equipment warm in a more qualitative way to raise the efficiency of the boilers. Besides, the technicians and skilled workers pooled their efforts to accelerate the technical reconstruction and thus provided a technical guarantee for increasing the power production by five percent."
The Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326 is organizing production under a more scrupulous plan under the greatest emergency anti-epidemic system.
Workteam Head Jang Jun Song has this to say:
"Under the greatest emergency anti-epidemic system our factory has tightly closed every production unit and is pushing ahead with production while strengthening the disinfection over every corner of the working space. I can take my workshop as an example. The conditions are less favourable than usual. But all the workers do not hesitate but make positive efforts to produce the electric cables as scheduled and planned in order to unconditionally carry out the task they resolved before the Party. We make a firmer resolve to overcome the present difficulties with our own efforts and technology."
Successes are expanded in the electric power production day by day thanks to the devoted efforts of the power producers with the consciousness that any harsh anti-epidemic situation cannot check our advance.
