Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries from June 13 to 21 to mark the 58th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il 's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
Symposiums on the Chairman's works "On Some Problems of the Ideological Foundation of Socialism" and "The Workers' Party of Korea Organizes and Guides All the Victories of Our People" were held in Guinea and Norway, seminars on his achievements in Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Italy, Spain, Serbia and Algeria, and a lecture in Belarus.
Speeches were made at the events.
The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway stressed that the WPK, which had achieved only victory under the leadership of the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il , is now advancing vigorously along the road of prosperity by dint of self-reliance with Comrade Kim Jong Un at the head.
Speakers, including the general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy and the chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of Songun Idea for Independence and Sovereignty, highly praised Kim Jong Il as a genuine and prominent leader of the people who developed the WPK into a strong, political leadership organization.
The chairperson of the C.C., Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan, a member of the C.C., Pakistan Awami National Party and the chief of a Pakistani women's organization for the study of the Juche idea said that Kim Jong Il 's start of work at the WPK Central Committee was a historic event as it laid a firm guarantee for accomplishing the Party-building cause of the leader and the socialist cause.
The chairperson of the Socialist Party of Romania said that it is impossible to think of the WPK's history of development without the efforts and energy of Kim Jong Il .
The international secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of the People of Spain, the chief of the Belarusian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK and personages from the Democratic Rally of Africa-Democratic Party of Guinea and the Nepalese Federation of Trade Unions stressed that June 19, 1964 transformed the WPK into a revolutionary Party in which the leader's ideological and leadership system is firmly established and into an ever-victorious Party never relenting to any difficulties. -0-
