On the occasion of the 58th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, seminars on On Some Problems of the Ideological Foundation of Socialism and The Workers' Party of Korea Organizes and Guides All the Victories of Our People were held in Guinea and Norway, seminars on his exploits in Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Italy, Spain, Serbia and Algeria and a lecture was given in Belarus between June 13 and 21.

Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of political parties, organizations and institutions in the countries.

The speakers including the chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, the general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy and the chairman of the Group for the Study of the Songun Idea for independence and Sovereignty of Italy highly admired him as a true people’s leader and outstanding leader as he put forward the Juche idea as the only guiding ideology of the WPK and developed the Party into a powerful leading political organization.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan, a member of the Central Committee of the Awami National Party of Pakistan and the head of the Women’s Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Pakistan stressed that Comrade Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea was a historic event which provided a sure guarantee for accomplishing the leader’s cause of Party building and the cause of socialism.

The chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, the international secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People of Spain, the chief of the Belarusian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK and personages of the alliance for African democracy-Democratic Party of Guinea and the Federation of Trade Unions of Nepal stressed that thanks to June 19 in 1964, the WPK became able to demonstrate its might as a revolutionary party firmly based on the leader’s ideological and leadership system and an ever-victorious party which withstands any storm and stress, that thanks to the date, the issue of succession to leadership was settled with credit and socialism could be firmly defended in the DPRK, that leader Kim Jong Il’s exploits of Party building are that he developed the WPK into the party of President Kim Il Sung and consolidated the unity and solidarity of the whole Party as solid as a rock, and that the WPK has further developed into a true people’s party, which thoroughly embodies the people-first principle, under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Personages of the New Yugoslav Communist Party, the Serbian Communist Party and the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea referred to the significance of President Kim Il Sung’s visit to Yugoslavia in June 1975 and noted that the history of friendly relations between the two countries was carried forward by the great Comrade Kim Jong Il and goes on thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
