The General Association of Koreans in China, its vice-chairpersons Cha Sang Bo and Kim Yong Nyo, the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and its Chairperson Han Song Ok, Paek Kyong Hon, chairman of the Zhongnan Regional Association, and Kim Ryon Won, member of the Jilin Province Regional Association, issued statements and press statements on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
On the significant V-Day they paid the highest respect to President Kim Il Sung who defeated the U.S. imperialists who were boasting of being "the strongest" in the world and brought about the victory in the war.
July 27, 1953 is recorded in the history of struggle of the Korean people as a historic day of war victory in which they defeated the U.S. imperialist aggressors and glorified the dignity and honor of the country, they said.
They stressed that the army and people of the DPRK shattered the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialism, rallied around Kim Il Sung, the invincible and iron-willed commander.
They warned that if the U.S. imperialists, oblivious of historic lessons in the 1950s, ignited the second Korean war, they would meet the bitter defeat and warmongers instigating the confrontation with fellow countrymen would pay dearly for their maneuvers.
July 27, V-Day belongs to the Korean people forever and the songs of war victory will be immortal, they said.
Led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the DPRK will shine as a military power of Juche and the people in the homeland will repel all the challenges by hostile forces and bring about eye-catching achievements in building a socialist power, they added.
