Haeju citizens moved to tears of gratitude

Kim Jong Un,  general  secretary  of  the  Workers’  Party  of  Korea,  sent  medicines prepared by his family to the WPK Haeju City Committee of South  Hwanghae Province on June 15 as an acute enteric infectious disease broke out  in the city.

Handing  the  medicines  over  to  the  Party  committee  of  the  headquarters  of  the  WPK Central Committee, the  General Secretary asked it to send the relief  medicines to the Haeju City Party Committee and make sure that the city Party  committee would concretely grasp the households suffering from the epidemic  and  deliver  the  medicines  to  them  as  soon  as  possible  to  contribute  to  their  treatment even a little.

Greatly excited to receive the  medicines he sent, the  people and youth in the  city  hardly  controlled  tears  welling  up  in  their  eyes  as  they  felt  his  paternal  love for people more keenly.

After  receiving such medicines, Ri Tae Hyok, a young  worker at  the Haeju  Smeltery, expressed his gratitude to him as follows:

“Not  a  long  ago,  the  people  and  youth  in  our  province  shed  tears  as  they  received medicines he sent.  And today our family  received the love  from him  and I feel as if I am dreaming. I cannot find  words to express  my  feeling of  gratitude to him.”

“From  the  day  when  the  infectious  disease  broke  out  unexpectedly,  my  family members were  at a loss what to do. But the  General Secretary carefully  considered  the  situation  of  many  families  as  well  as  mine  and  sent  the  medicines prepared by his family  to us.  We do not know how to  express our  thanks to him  and  only tears well up in our  eyes,” said Han Chol Myong,  a  staffer of the Haeju Fishery Station.

The youth and residents of the city are now  redoubling  their  efforts in their  workplaces  with a determination to repay  the  favour  bestowed on them by the  leader.
