Despite the strong opposition at home and abroad, Japan has recently given a formal consent to the plan of Tokyo Electric Power Holding Incorporation to discharge the radioactive waste water of Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific.
This approval gave rise to a grave situation where the Pacific, the common asset of mankind, can be exposed to contamination.
Experts are warning that 1.25 million tons of nuclear waste water, once discharged on the coast of Fukushima, can be carried away to the opposite waters of the Pacific within 50 days as it has strong current of seawater, endangering the marine environment of the world as well as the health of people in trans-Pacific countries.
This fact notwithstanding, the Japanese authorities have approved this plan. This is a clear manifestation of immorality, impudence and craftiness peculiar to Japan which sacrifices even the interests of international society without any hesitation for the sake of its own interests.
This is why many countries including China are deriding Japan’s decision as “nuclear terrorist act”, brazen act of giving priority to its own interests over the ones of international society and reckless criminal act threatening the life safety of mankind.
The discharge of nuclear waste water into the Pacific which can bring a nuclear holocaust to mankind is an act which can be committed only by Japan, notorious for wrong and villainous acts throughout history.
The Pacific is not the sewage of Japan.
If Japan discharges the nuclear waste water into the Pacific at any cost, it would certainly meet the fate of being deserted by the international society and would pay a dear price over long time.
