A few days ago, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau made a string of absurd remarks slandering our Republic as a “warmonger” in the so-called “statement” issued on the occasion of the 69 th anniversary of the ceasefire of the Korean war.
Canadian government’s act of finding fault with us is an insolent one of turning black into white as it did not apologize for its misdeeds of providing subserviently a large number of soldiers as the cannon fodder of the U.S. during the Korean war in the 1950s.
Whatever sophism it lets loose, Canada can never be free from its war crime of destroying homes of the Korean people and killing millions of innocent residents, toeing the U.S. line.
Canada is still playing the role of active follower and shock brigade in implementing the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.
It is none other than Canada which dispatches its air and naval forces to the vicinity of the Korean peninsula several times every year and always pokes its nose into the U.S.-led joint military drills targeting our country.
It is also Canada which is in the habit of setting reckless clumsy fire on our country, China, Russia and other independent countries standing against the U.S., just following the U.S. strategic compass points being utterly indifferent to the life of its people who are undergoing pain and suffering due to the pandemic and economic crisis.
Such hostile acts of Canada towards the DPRK show as it is its stance of subordinating to the U.S., which has become inveterate historically.
It is no wonder that other countries gave Canada the ignominious nicknames “puppet of the U.S.” and “weathercock of the U.S. political climate”.
The reckless remarks made by the Canadian Prime Minister this time - the ignorance about history or the deliberate denial of history - are also the outcome of blindly following the U.S.
Numerous facts and data recorded in the history have proved that the provoker of the Korean war is none other than the U.S. and that this stark fact can never be concealed or covered up.
The world has never heard of such a war as the Korean war which had been prepared by the U.S. in a planned and systematic way. And the whole course of the Korean war corroborated the fact that the U.S. is the very provoker of the war.
If Canada is intent on enforcing its foreign policy properly, Canada should stop blindly following the U.S. And before everything else, Canada had better begin studying history again.
