Enlarged meeting of sixth plenary meeting of Tenth Central Committee of SPYL held

An enlarged meeting of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League was held on August 11 through video conferencing.
It was attended by members and alternate members of the youth league central committee.
Present there as observers were officials of the SPYL Central Committee and youth league officials of ministries, national agencies, provinces, cities and counties.
The meeting discussed as major agenda items youth league organizations’ task of decisively improving and intensifying the youth league work and so on.
Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, made reports on the agenda items.
He referred to the purpose of holding the meeting in the period when all the people and youths of the country are engaged in a general offensive to glorify this year as a year of great watershed in the development of the revolution true to the important tasks set forth at the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
He underlined the need for all youth league officials to bring about a radical improvement in the youth league work by displaying their endless creative power and the spirit of devoted struggle with the firm ideological will to be faithful to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s idea of attaching importance to youth, fulfilling their honourable mission and duty as befit youth league officials in the great era of Kim Jong Un.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
Speakers expressed their determination to fully demonstrate their militant mettle as the advance force and wing of the WPK in the struggle to achieve comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism, bearing in mind the decisions made at the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.
The meeting discussed draft decisions related to the agenda items and adopted relevant decisions.
