Place of Rest in Central Hall

It was July 26, Juche 101 (2012).

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the Ryugyong Health Complex near completion in the sultry heat of 33℃.

The air conditioner of the health complex was not working properly yet, so it was as hot inside the building as in the outside.

Regardless of the heat, the respected General Secretary entered the central hall.

The central hall was empty then.

The officials felt something was missing there but they didn’t know what that was.

But the respected General Secretary immediately noticed what was wrong and said that the stylobate must be formed and some kind of sculpture could be made with stone.

It would be good to arrange a stand to serve refreshments and the like to the customers, he taught.

He added that chairs had to be placed for the customers to relax on them.

Only then, the officials could realize why they felt empty at the central hall.

Although they tried their best to design and build the health complex with an innovative eye, the officials couldn’t keep up with the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who sees to it that every little space is used for the sake of the people’s convenience.

The officials kept deep in their hearts the lofty intention of the great father that there can be no satisfaction in the work for the good of the people.

Expressing Gratitude toward Officials

The respected General Secretary feels so glad when he sees officials strive to do as much as they can for the people and bestows the highest appreciation upon them.

Once, the respected General Secretary gave field guidance to the Physical Exercise Center in Thongil Street nearing its completion.

When he dropped at the physical exercise room for health on the third floor, he said with satisfaction that the room was nicely arranged to look wide and bright, that the height of the ceiling was appropriate and that the positions of the exercise equipment were chosen well.

Then he thanked the officials that they did a great job for the people and that he was grateful for their sincerity for the people.

It was none other than him who had initiated the construction of such a wonderful physical exercise center and saw to it that the center was completed on the highest level.

The officials only tried to remain true to the ennobling will of the great father who was making devoted efforts for the people’s health and happiness.

His words of gratitude toward the officials bear his great trust that they will devote their everything to the people.
