Recently, the U.S. troops have again committed atrocities of indiscriminate air raid on the Syrian territory.
For three days starting from August 23, the U.S. troops carried out an air raid on the eastern region of this country under the pretext of attacking the bases of pro-Iran militia corps in Syria, causing enormous human and material loss.
This is clearly an act of grave violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a sovereign state as well as the international law and with nothing can they justify it.
Nevertheless, the spokesperson for the U.S. Defense Department openly stated that they would not hesitate to do anything in order to protect the safety of the U.S. troops, justifying its air raid as a retaliatory action taken against the provocation by the pro-Iran militia corps who recently attacked the U.S. army bases in Syria with missiles.
After illegally occupying other’s territory, the U.S. has been given to massacre and destruction. But now, it is masquerading as “victim” and talking about so-called “retaliation”. This cannot but be the height of brazenness.
Several years have passed since the U.S. illegally occupied Syria under the pretext of “counter-terrorism”. But the only things they have done are nothing but slaughter of civilians, plunder of resources including crude oil, indiscriminate destruction and assistance to terrorists.
Before referring to so-called “retaliation”, the U.S. should withdraw its aggressive troops from Syria at the earliest possible date.
