Watnatee PullarpSecretary,Juche Idea Study Organization of ThailandSocialist Korea has its outstanding guiding ideology.It had been accepted by the international community that socialism was all alike.But they changed this notion during the political turmoil witnessed in the closing years of the last century.They began to see Korean-style socialism anew, and the basic reason for the difference is that socialism of Korean style is guided by the Juche idea.The Juche idea that was founded by President Kim Il Sung and enriched by Chairman Kim Jong Il is a man-centred outlook on world and the guiding ideology in the era of independence that scientifically illuminates the road to champion and realize the independence of the masses of the people, that of country and nation.The DPRK, as it thoroughly embodies it in state building and activities, has been able to become a country for people in which exploitation and oppression are abolished, people become masters of everything and everything serves them, a socialist system centred on the masses.In the DPRK, a motherland of the Juche idea, the masses of the people exercise their rights as masters in all fields of social life, socialist ownership and collectivist principles are maintained and interests and convenience of the people are given top and absolute priorities.The DPRK people have ingrained deep in their mind the justness and truthfulness of the Juche idea through their practical experience and thus are sticking to the road to socialism centred on the people as the Juche idea guides.In Pyongyang, there is the highest stone tower (170 m) in the world, the Tower of the Juche Idea standing on the bank of the Taedong River which flows through the central part of Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK.The torch on top of the tower symbolizes the Juche idea which elucidates the way for carving out the destiny of man, as well as the victory of the idea.Under the wise leadership of the WPK, the DPRK has been built up into a country in which the people are the masters of everything and everything serves them.The DPRK people have been living in one great family, helping each other for over 70 years and this now has been a habit and life.All the DPRK people support their own socialism in which the popular masses are the masters of nation and societyIn the DPRK, Government organs, hospitals, schools and resorts serve the people.The DPRK government distributes dwelling houses to the people for free and is responsible for people’s life and happy life.President Kim Il Sung, founding father of socialist Korea, believed in his people as in heaven.In his memoirs With the Century, he wrote: “‘The people are my God’ has been my constant view and motto. The principle of Juche, which calls for drawing on the strength of the masses who are the masters of the revolution and construction, is my political creed. This has been the axiom that has led me to devote my whole life to the people.”He regarded the masses of the people as omnipotent beings possessed of inexhaustible strength and wisdom, and raised their position and role to the highest level.All the lines and policies pursued by the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government are for the good of the people and everything serves them.Thanks to these policies, the DPRK society has been developed into one in which the people’s human rights are fully guaranteed and they live happily without cause for envy.Chairman Kim Jong Il carried forward the ennobling idea of President Kim Il Sung and its validity has been proved by the history of modern Korea.True to his predecessors’ intentions, General Secretary Kim Jong Un visits wherever the people live, including factories, farms, fishing villages, scientific research institutes, construction sites, schools, kindergartens, baby homes, orphanages and rest homes.Under his wise leadership, the DPRK is making a leap forward in all spheres of social life.The people’s living standards are steadily improving and the production is increased in all economic sectors by giving full play to the spirit of self-reliance and self-development.The DPRK people’s beautiful dreams and ideals will surely come true under this benevolent social system.The Workers’ Party of Korea is the genuine people’s party holding the most importance to the interests of the people and also the politics of the WPK which serves people has been raised to a new height by General Secretary Kim Jong Un.He is leading officials to think about the people’s interest and convenience first whatever they do and to defend their dignity and sovereignty in any circumstances.The Juche Idea Study Organization of Thailand congratulates DPRK people who are celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Day of the Sun, firmly is convinced that the DPRK people will fully display the dignity and might of WPK under the wise leadership of the respected His Excellency Kim Jong Un.
