Foreign personages of broad stripes paid a congratulatory visit to the DPRK missions in their countries on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The visitors included a member of the Central Leadership of Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party, the special political adviser to the Senegalese President and other personages of governments, political parties, organizations and institutions such as the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Association, the Pakistan People's Party, the Serbia-Korea Friendship Association and the Political Bureau of the Workers' Party for the Independence of Senegal. They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the smiling portraits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their joint pictures and paid a tribute to them.
Personages of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria and the Group for Self-Reliance Studies of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia paid a congratulatory visit to the DPRK missions.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Laos, the Head of the Thai Construction Party, a Senator of the Federal Legislature and the Secretary General of the Association for Self-Reliance Studies of Pakistan, the National Leader of the Workers' Party of Mexico, the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Viet Nam, the Communist Party of India, the Swedish Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula and the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism sent floral baskets and bouquets to the DPRK missions.
The Russian ambassador to Viet Nam and the President of the National Assembly and a member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Thailand sent congratulatory letters to the DPRK missions.
