The workers of the May Day Stadium General Processing Factory love songs very much.
As their work turns into songs and a beautiful life flourishes with them, every workplace overflows with sheer delight.
The factory oriented its mass cultural and artistic activities not towards specialization but to making it an exciting activity full of joy and pride of labour as well as an artistic activity closely intertwined with working life.
Workers say that meetings for disseminating songs and congratulating labour innovators and recreation parties organized at workteams served as occasions for improving their cultural attainments and artistic abilities.
According to workteam leader Jang Un Chol, it is natural for them to sing at break-times and everyone enjoys singing.
Their workplace is always full of songs and, therefore, their artistic abilities are improved automatically, he added.
An employee created and performed a witty talk to earn the respect of many co-workers as a “master of narrative”.
The factory provides all conditions for everyone to display their talents in the mass cultural and artistic activities.
The production activities and daily schedules are properly organized to suit the characteristics of each workteam and to help employees acquire different artistic skills like literature, sketch and calligraphy as well as singing and playing musical instruments.
As mass cultural and artistic activities became part of their working life, all employees are joining efforts in increasing production.
“As all the employees engage in the mass cultural and artistic activities, they show greater love for labour and life and try to do many good things for the collective, the factory and the society,” said manager Ri Pyong Gwan.
