Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Officials, workers and technicians in the light industrial sector of the DPRK strive to solve the problem of consumer goods in keeping with the regional features.
North Phyongan Province established a new caustic soda production process with a capacity of tens of tons and updated a soft sugar production process to strengthen the material and technical foundations of local industry factories.
After setting Hoeryong City and the Susongchon General Foodstuff Factory as model region and unit, North Hamgyong Province has urged them to positively exchange and share their experience and technical innovation achievements gained in building up the computer integrated manufacturing and putting the production and management activities on a scientific and IT basis.
North Hwanghae Province has concentrated efforts on the modernization of local industry factories with main stress put on the domestic production of equipment and the recycling for raw and other materials.
The same is true of Kangwon Province and Nampho City.
Meanwhile, workers and technicians of local industry factories across the country are striving to improve their technical knowledge and skills through sci-tech learning spaces and study-while-working educational system. -0-
