It was about 5 a.m. on January 14 in Juche 103(2014).
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un called a senior official of the State Academy of Sciences by phone after sitting up all night working.
Recalling that he had promised to build a modern street for scientists in the area of Unjong in the previous year he said to the official that he thought about it through the night.
Noting that he would have to take into account the amount of materials needed and make up building forces, he kindly asked how many houses were needed actually.
After listening to the official’s answer carefully, he said that he must go out to the spot in person.
Being surprised the official said that he should not overstrain himself so much and that our people always wished his good health earnestly.
Thereupon he said that he should do much work for the good of people adding he would immediately go to the spot and see the official there.
He visited the State Academy of Sciences this way.
On the spot he gave precious instructions and took measures to provide the scientists with houses like a golden cushion.
On the day he said to officials that he was working by saving every bit of time in order to bring earlier the day when our people, whom President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il had loved most, would enjoy all blessings in the world in a powerful and wealthy country where everything prospers.
In this way our respected General Secretary devotes himself day and night to the victory of revolution, prosperity of the nation and greater happiness of the people bearing every small and big matter on his shoulders.
Thanks to his great dedication, remarkable changes are being made rapidly in our country.
