Russia Says U.S.-South Korea Joint Military Exercise Causes Tension on Korean Peninsula

Recently, Russia is raising its concerns at the reckless military provocations of the U.S. and south Korean puppets who are yet again driving the situation on and around the Korean peninsula towards a phase of confrontation by mobilizing offensive weapons and staging intimidating military demonstrations.
On October 31, Ria-Novosti News Agency released what the Director of the Asian Department 1 of the Russian foreign ministry had said. The director said that the U.S. and south Korea are showing active political and military movements in recent months, which were once suspended, resulting in the DPRK’s missile launches. The director added that the efforts and goodwill of the DPRK hasn’t been used and the policy of goodwill for goodwill has now shifted to that of spearhead for spearhead.
In a regular press conference, a spokesperson for the Russian foreign ministry said that the reason for the current tension on the Korean peninsula lies with Washington which is using its own strategic potentials and the resources of its allies in the Asia-Pacific in order to force unilateral disarmament on the DPRK by means of sanctions, pressure by strength, and provocation. She continued to criticise the U.S. and south Korea for mobilizing in practice around 240 airplanes to stage a joint air drill of unprecedented scale from October 31 for the purpose of improving concentrated attacks on the DPRK.
Meanwhile, a researcher at the Security Issue Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a senior researcher at the China and Modern Asia Research Institute, and other figures in academic circles also pointed out that the DPRK will continue its missile launches unless the U.S. ceases its military manoeuvres around the Korean peninsula that antagonize the DPRK, and that the U.S. political and military presence in south Korea, in itself, is the factor which aggravates the situation on the Korean peninsula.
All these comments serve as concrete proof that the reckless military manoeuvres of the U.S. and south Korea cause tension on the Korean peninsula.
