His people were always his teacher and he was a son loyal to them.Thanks to Comrade Kim Il Sung, the people’s independent demand and aspiration became ideas, theories and policies and the most revolutionary and scientific guideline that could be easily understood by them and illuminated a true road of shaping their destiny was provided. As a new ideology, the Juche idea has demonstrated its vitality in the whole history of the DPRK and its people.In his treatise made public on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said.“As he placed his trust in the masses and relied on them, he was able to push forward simultaneously such gigantic undertakings as authoring a guiding ideology of the revolution, forming a vanguard organization, founding an army, awakening the masses to their ideological consciousness and organizing them; thus he created a new history of the Juche revolution and led several stages of the difficult and complicated revolutionary struggle and the work of construction to victory without any mistake in his lines and without any failure.”In the early period Comrade Kim Il Sung put forward Juche-oriented military ideas and theories, channeled big efforts into the strengthening of the revolutionary armed forces in the whole period of his revolutionary life and invariably won victory in the bloody and decisive struggle against imperialist forces and in the grave confrontation with them.He defeated formidable imperialist enemies who boasted of their numerical and technical superiority, by dint of political and ideological, strategic and tactical superiority in the revolutionary war against Japanese imperialists and the Fatherland Liberation War. It is ascribed to the creative standpoint maintained by Comrade Kim Il Sung in the revolutionary practice to apply the Juche idea in the military field.The Korean revolution was faced with severe trials on countless occasions. Each time Comrade Kim Il Sung boldly confronted the trials with the faith and assurance that the DPRK would emerge victorious as long as it had the Party, the government, the army and the people, and with matchless courage; in this way he turned adversity and misfortune to good account, and won victory after victory.The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said.“Kim Il Sung is the eternal leader of our Party and people and the Sun of Juche who laid lasting foundations for the victorious advance and accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.”A revolutionary party, government and army are the most powerful political weapon for guaranteeing a revolutionary cause—its beginning, progress and victory.History shows that destiny of the revolution, the destiny of socialism, is decided by how party, government and army are built and how people are prepared politically and ideologically.Comrade Kim Il Sung founded and developed the Workers’ Party of Korea, a revolutionary party of Juche-type, and the government of the Republic which is a genuine people’s power, and built the People’s Army into an invincible army and trained the DPRK people into those strong in idea and faith, The Workers’ Party of Korea ensures the leader’s guidance over the revolution and construction and leads the popular masses to fulfil their responsibility and role as the masters of the revolution and construction in loyal support to the Party and the leader. The People’s Army, having grown into a powerful revolutionary army of Mt. Paektu, is displaying, as the hard-core units and main force of the Korean revolution, the honour of a performer of miracles and feats at all the most challenging and important posts of defending and building up socialism.Juche-oriented socialism is the biggest patriotic legacy bequeathed by Comrade Kim Il Sung.Today, we witness that all the DPRK people are firmly rallied around the leader in ideology, purpose and moral obligation and the whole society has turned into a great family in which all its members help and lead one another forward in a comradely manner. This is the essential features of socialism of the DPRK style and the source of its inexhaustible strength.Independence in politics, self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance in defence are the road to eternal victory and prosperity of Juche-oriented socialism.The DPRK’s self-reliant defence capabilities defend the socialist motherland impregnably from the imperialist aggression, provide a strong military guarantee for building a thriving nation and ensure peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of Asia.Comrade Kim Il Sung ensured for the first time that the socialist cause was combined with the cause of national independence and the whole course of socialist construction was turned into the course of bringing the excellent traditions and culture of nation into bloom.Another important aspect in Comrade Kim Il Sung’s activities is that he paid deep attention to future development of the Korean revolution.Comrade Kim Il Sung regarded the problem of carrying forward the revolutionary cause not simply as that of handing over the leadership when one generation of the revolution is being replaced by another, but as an important matter for preserving and developing the revolutionary ideas and cause of the leader through the generations and deciding the future destiny of the revolution. From this point of view Comrade Kim Il Sung paid special attention to solving this issue. By doing so, Comrade Kim Il Sung provided a sure guarantee so that the revolutionary cause of Juche could be inherited and consummated with credit through generations and centuries.Having set national reunification as the supreme patriotic cause of the nation, Comrade Kim Il Sung devoted his all to strengthening and developing the movement for national reunification, and passed down brilliant exploits for realizing this long-cherished desire of the nation. By formulating the three charters for national reunification, he laid solid foundations on which all the Korean people in the north, in the south and abroad could form a powerful driving force for national reunification, and put an end to the interference by outside forces and hasten the independent reunification of the country through a concerted effort.Comrade Kim Il Sung made great contribution to the cause of global independence with his energetic external activities.
