One day in September Juche 110 (2021), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called labour innovators and persons of merit, who participated in the celebrations of the 73rd founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the office building of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
That day, he had a photo session with them and arranged a party for them in the garden of the building.
Among the participants was the manager of the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory.
When the party was in full swing, she stood up silently to express her gratitude to Kim Jong Un for having called her to the meaningful party.
She went to his table, and made a deep bow to him, introducing herself as the manager of the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory.
Kim Jong Un said that he had felt she was familiar to him and he would recall her only when she introduced herself as the Pomhyanggi manager.
It was one day in June Juche 107 (2018) when he first met her.
That day, after looking round several production lines of the factory, he said that the factory should continue to strive to improve the quality of its products so that the Pomhyanggi -brand cosmetics from the factory are favoured by the people, and that it was his determination to make world-class cosmetics produced in the country and encourage the people to use their indigenous cosmetics.
Before leaving the factory, he expressed his belief that the officials and employees of the factory would make a tangible contribution to improving the people’s standard of living by bringing about innovations in the production of quality cosmetics, mindful of full consciousness that they serve the people,.
Recollecting the impression of the day, the manager said that she would not forget the reception that evening.
Kim Jong Un filled her glass and toasted to her.
