President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un sends message of sympathy to Chinese President Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of sympathy to Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China.

Upon the sad news of the death of Jiang Zemin, I express deep condolences to you, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the government of the People's Republic of China, the fraternal Chinese people and the bereaved families of the deceased on behalf of the Workers' Party of Korea, the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the entire Korean people and in my own name.
Jiang Zemin made devoted efforts for the strengthening and development of the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China and the happiness of the Chinese people, put forward the important idea of the "Three Representatives" and made a great contribution to the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Jiang Zemin gave sincere support and encouragement to the socialist cause of our people and made positive efforts to consolidate and develop the traditional DPRK-China friendship.
Though he passed away, his exploits will be immortal.
I hope that the Chinese party, government and people would overcome the pain of loss and achieve a greater success in accomplishing the cause of modernization of socialism under your leadership.
