The 23rd Plenary Meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on December 6.
It was presided over by Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK.
Present there were members of the Standing Committee of the SPA.
Also on hand as observers were officials concerned of the Standing Committee of the SPA, the Secretariat of the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies.
Brought up as agenda items at the meeting were the issues on calling the SPA of the DPRK, on adopting the DPRK Law on Public Catering Service and on recalling and electing judge and people's assessor of the Central Court of the DPRK.
The decision of the Standing Committee of the SPA on calling the Eighth Session of the 14th SPA of the DPRK was first adopted with unanimous approval at the meeting.
Then, there was a report on the main content of the DPRK Law on Public Catering Service which was deliberated on at the Legislation Committee of the SPA.
The meeting studied and deliberated on the draft law presented and adopted the DPRK Law on Public Catering Service as a decree of the Standing Committee of the SPA.
The meeting recalled and elected judge and people's assessor of the Central Court of the DPRK.
