The head of the family Kim Yong Sik is a coach of the Amnokgang Sports Team who is training promising basketballers. His wife Kim Sun Nyo was active as a basketball player and captain at the Amnokgang Sports Team in her girlhood. Their sons Kim Chol Jin and Kim Chol Myong are basketballers of the Amnokgang Sports Team at present.
This family has a lot of prides.
Kim Yong Sik was awarded a lot of medals and cups at international and national games in the days when he was active as a player. Now he is a coach training basketballers, making a contribution to exalting the honour of the country.

Kim Sun Nyo regards the medals and cups won by her husband and sons as the most valuable treasure of the family. She is the first teacher who always encouraged her sons to become basketballers, teaching them basic basketball techniques including the way of holding a basketball in place of her husband staying at the sports team almost every day. Now she is doing her best as wife and mother so that her husband and sons can make successes in the games all the time.
