Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The whole life of Chairman Kim Jong Il was a brilliant one of the popular leader who devoted his all to the happiness of the people.
It was his faith and will that if there is an almighty being in the world, it is the people, that the country and motherland exist as the people exist and that if it is the wish of the people, he will pluck a star from the heavens or grow flowers even on a rock.
Dedicated service for the people ran through his whole life.
The slogan put forward by Kim Jong Il "We Serve the People!" reflects his political faith as he pursued the politics of love for the people and benevolent politics all his life, guided by the theory that the people are heaven.
He always regarded the people's demands and will as the absolute criterion for shaping lines and policies. When something was created, he first inquired whether the people liked it and when officials made mistakes, he criticized them, asking them to think what people would say.
He took measures to build dwelling houses for the inhabitants in the submerged area even though the construction of a power station was hindered. When visiting chicken farms and silk cloth and cosmetics production units, he requested that they should be ones loved by the people and serving them.
The devoted efforts of Kim Jong Il who made ceaseless field guidance for the people till the last moment of his great life is kept deep in the minds of the people.
He is, indeed, the supreme incarnation of love for the people, a man who took warm care of the people. -0-
