On January 24, Juche 101(2012), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Mangyongdae Revolutionary School on the occasion of the Lunar New Year’s Day and congratulated its teaching staff and pupils.

At the time he visited it with a firm will to train the sons and daughters of revolutionary martyrs, who are the best fulcrum of our Party, into the trustworthy vanguard fighters who powerfully lead the cause of socialism of our own style.

Ten-odd years have passed since then.

After his visit to Mangyongdae Revolutionary School at the outset of the new century of Juche, the respected General Secretary has visited the "pedigree farm" for bringing up the hardcore several times and devoted himself to the sons and daughters of revolutionary martyrs. His devotion has reliably guaranteed the eternal youthful vigour of the cause of Juche. In order for a revolution to win victory after victory, a large contingent of successors, who steadfastly carry forward the bloodline of ideology and noble soul of their forerunners, is badly needed and it can be brought to fruition through continuous education and training.

The baton of ideology and faith should be carried forward more vigorously without fading over time, and the work of training reserve revolutionaries should not be neglected even a moment as the revolution advances.

The sons and daughters of revolutionary martyrs symbolize the main pillars and roots of our revolution.

Staking its fate on the inheritance of the revolutionary cause, our Party devotes all its sincerity to training them as revolutionary talents who will firmly carry forward the bloodline of the Juche revolution and pillars who will play a pivotal role in carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche.

It is the noble intention of the General Secretary to train the sons and daughters of revolutionary martyrs as stout revolutionaries who will be the kernel of the hardcore of the revolutionary ranks and lead the advance and development at any field or post they are assigned to work.

The institutes, which train the children of revolutionary martyrs into reliable pillars of the Juche revolution, are precisely our revolutionary schools which were born under the care of the leader and developed into the pedigree farms of training revolutionary talents under the care of the Party.

Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School are "pedigree farms" for bringing up excellent talents who will contribute to carrying out the sacred cause of making the main pillars and roots of the Juche revolution eternally strong and turning the whole revolutionary ranks into an elite force by dint of their great spiritual strength. It is a source of great pride of our Party and people and the precious assets for lasting prosperity of our state to have such great homes of revolution.

The sons and daughters of Mangyongdae are growing beyond recognition day after day thanks to the great painstaking efforts of the General Secretary who takes benevolent steps to bring them up as indomitable fighters who are aware of the Party and the revolution and devotedly serve the country and the people in the practical struggle, not as children of plutocrats, by instilling in them with an unyielding strong will, confidence in sure victory and revolutionary optimism during their school days.

The General Secretary said that only when the revolutionary schools train their students to have the greatest spiritual strength by inheriting the forerunners’ spirit and indomitable soul as part of their ideological and mental qualities, can the red flag of revolution never discolour and our revolutionary position be fortified into a pure integral whole which is invulnerable to any heterogeneous ideas.

Indeed, the revolutionary schools are the great bosom and sacred home which bring up genuine revolutionaries who will firmly defend the lifeline of our revolution and fully guarantee the eternal future of our country by carrying forward the lineage of Mangyongdae and Paektu.

It is the resolute faith of the pupils growing up in the revolutionary schools to remain absolutely loyal to the leadership of the Party Central Committee and play core role in the struggle for the comprehensive development of our own style of socialism by steadfastly carrying forward the idea, soul and bloodline of their forerunners.

Thanks to the ranks of reliable successors brought up by the great Workers’ Party of Korea generation after generation, the cornerstone of our Party and state has been firmly consolidated and the course of our revolution is being recorded as a proud history of heroic feats and victory, and thus the future of the Juche revolution is so rosy.
