The Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea held in December 2021 advanced the strategic policies for dynamically propelling the overall development of the Korean-style socialist construction.

Noting that the supply of school uniforms and things to the students across the country at the state’s expense is a consistent policy of the Party and the state, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the WPK, set forth a task for supplying all students with quality uniforms and bags of new forms without exception and took an important measure of the Party Central Committee for implementing it.

And he stated that the supply of school uniforms to children is not a work that might be done under favourable conditions or might not be done under unfavourable conditions, but the policy of our Party and the eternal state policy of the Republic that must be done unconditionally and preferentially.

Expressing his firm resolve to supply all students across the country with smart and excellent school uniforms, he called on the light industry sector to make sincere efforts to the production of uniforms, together with the minds of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who put it forward as the policy of the Party and the state for the first time in history that the state takes responsibility for the production and supply of school uniforms.

His every word moved the participants in the plenary meeting.

Still etched in the minds of the Korean people are the stories about warm benevolence of the great leaders. In April scores of years ago, President Kim Il Sung ensured that all children and students across the country were supplied with new school uniforms and, one day, visited the then Yonphung Senior Middle School in order to see its students in new uniforms. Chairman Kim Jong Il always paid close attention to the issue related to the production of school uniforms even when the country was in difficulties.

Much water has flown under the bridge since then.

But the epic about Kim Jong Un , who carries forward the loving care for the rising generations on this land, on behalf of the President and the Chairman, touched the heartstrings of people.

At the plenary meeting, he gave a precious instruction that to direct the greatest efforts of the Party and the state to the work for children is the basic and elementary duty of revolutionaries fighting for the future.

Not only the participants in the plenary meeting but all the people across the country cherished once again the sincerity of Kim Jong Un who firmly defends and brings into fuller bloom the bright smile and happiness of the beloved rising generations, however manifold trials and difficulties may stand ahead of the Korean revolution.
