A large number of youths and students from over 290 units in Ryanggang Province of the DPRK have visited the revolutionary battle and other sites in the area of Mt Paektu since the outset of this year. The number of visitors is still increasing amid the growing enthusiasm for winter study tour of Mt Paektu, the holy mountain of revolution.
Touring the Paektu area, the visitors more deeply grasped the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il associated with the sacred place of the revolution.
The provincial youth league committee has significantly organized the study tour with the main emphasis put on preparing the youth and students to be patriotic young people who resolutely struggle for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Paektu.
At snow-covered Sobaeksu Valley, the visitors came to realize that the independent struggle policy and the ever-victorious strategy and tactics, clarified by Kim Il Sung at the headquarters of the revolution, helped the anti-Japanese guerillas win victory in every battle of the anti-Japanese war and accomplish the great cause of national liberation.
They toured the Chongbong Bivouac, the Konchang Bivouac, the Samjiyon Grand Monument, the Monument to the Victorious Battle in Musan Area, etc.
They climbed up to the top of Mt Paektu.
