One July day five years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the construction site in the then Samjiyon County.
At the observation deck on Pegae Hill, he gave an instruction that the dwelling houses of the county should be designed in a good combination of two- and three-story apartments, folding screen-style apartment house and terraced houses, adding that the houses should be designed in a variety of forms to suit the aesthetic tastes and view of our people and the characteristics of urban areas, mountainous areas and coastal areas.
Then, the respected General Secretary stressed the need to refine the design for sprucing up Samjiyon County as instructed that day.
Looking up to the General Secretary who was so concerned for building a new and peculiar street in the township area of the county, the accompanying officials looked back upon a day of a year ago.
On the day when he visited the Samjiyon Revolutionary Museum despite the bitter cold in December, he looked at the model board of the master plan for the construction of the township in Samjiyon County and worked heart and soul to build a new style of street.
Thanks to his meticulous care, the new style of street finally showed its magnificent appearance in the township area.
One day in April Juche 108 (2019), the General Secretary visited the construction site again.
That day, he warmly said that sprucing up Samjiyon County was a new revolution in making the people enjoy a better material and cultural life and that we were making a revolution to lead the locals to a civilized and cultural life.
Looking at the construction site of the township which was changed beyond recognition, he said that the the construction of the town in combination of low- and many-storied buildings was a tangible progress in the sector of construction.
Looking up to the General Secretary who is making a great progress in construction for people, the officials were so impressed.
No leaders in the world except the General Secretary paid deep attention to the work for building the street for people and worked heart and soul for people.
The newly-born miniature of the street--it is, indeed, a fruition of loving care of the General Secretary who devotes his all to making our people enjoy socialist civilization to their hearts’ content.
