The Workers' Party of Korea has set a high goal to make all the working people talented personnel with rich knowledge of science and technology.
The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill carries on the present production and the readjustment and reinforcement of the production base, regarding its own technical force as the most valuable foundation.
One day in June Juche 105(2016), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill.
Looking round different places of the mill, he acquainted himself in detail with its production and business activities and dropped in at the sci-tech learning space in the mill.
He praised the mill for its active online education through the sci-tech learning space.

"The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un heard with pleasure that the employees take part in the work for technical development of the mill. And he expressed great satisfaction, saying he likes that the mill is putting efforts into training technical personnel.
He went on to say: The mill has greatly benefited from the online education. As it has good scientists and technicians, the mill has been able to modernize the production processes by itself in accordance with its actual conditions.
If the study-while-working system is activated, the whole of the economy will greatly benefit from it in 10 years.
I, too, could acquire knowledge of science and technology while studying at the online education faculty of Kim Chaek University of Technology and now I am taking an active part in the work for technical reconstruction of the mill."
When all have the consciousness that they are the masters of science and technology and they are directly in charge of them, innovations will be made in the development of their units and also in the whole of the national economy.
